Experience Summary
My early fascination with animals led me to major in Animal Biochemistry and Nutrition with a minor in statistics for my first degree in the University. My passion for computers and tutoring however has since taken the forefront of my carrier and over the years I have trained private students in subjects ranging from College Biology and Anatomy to High School Mathematics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For the past five years, I have found a lot of joy in making my students understand various scientific principles that were otherwise difficult for them to grasp and I get a lot of satisfaction knowing that I am making a difference in their lives.
Teaching Style
I believe that every child has a potential to learn. My approach to teaching my students is to patiently study their strengths and to help them exploit those strengths to achieve academic excellence. I show my students how to perform complex tasks using various easy-to-understand methods and subsequently encourage them to independently solve similar problems by using and adapting those methods. I have found that students respond the best to learning if they can achieve confidence in their abilities.
