Experience Summary
I have worked in the public school setting over the past 14 years in grades pk through 8th grade. I have worked as an early childhood teacher, an administrator, P.E. teacher, and tutor. I have a genuine passion for working with children and seeing them be successful. I have received all sorts of professional development throughout the years including Great Expectations and Literacy First.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children and teaching them how to be successful. There is a indescribable feeling when one sees the sparkle in the eyes of a child when they finally "get it". I believe that children have to met where they are. I teach children according to their needs. All children have the potential to learn and when given the right structure and tools, they will succeed. As a teacher I make it my goal to change the world one student at a time.
