Experience Summary
I have tutored 100 level Biology (lower level) at my University for a year and have independently edited papers and tutored general chemistry. I have a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. With all of the biology classes I have taken, I am comfortable tutoring subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, General Biology, and Physics. I also have extensive experience with report writing and scientific papers. I am familiar with AP classes as well.
Teaching Style
I work with individuals or groups depending on learning styles. I help students understand the material by using their own strengths. I believe that with the proper guidance and patience, the student will learn. I provide the assistance needed to acquire study skills and memory techniques. I love tutoring for I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of my students, and helping them exceed in life. When they excel in their classes, I feel as if I have made a difference.
