Experience Summary
While completing a double major at Mississippi State I mentored 2 grade school students in math and english. I have always been a hard worker and teach that effort will take you along way. Math and science are my strong areas. Having completed veterinary school, I could be of particular help in the subjects of anatomy and biology.
Teaching Style
It has been several years since I have tutored, but my best attribute is my endless patience. I think many students become frustrated when they don't know the answer and then give up. I like to teach students how to get to the correct answer and then see what they come up with. I can assess where they went wrong and then give pointers how to do it correctly. Some subjects require memorization, in which I utilize methods to help remember the answer in ways that students find helpful and not a hindrance. Having fun with learning is a good way to help students.
