Experience Summary
I have much experience from both my education and tutoring. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BBA in Accounting and BS in Mathematics, which has allowed me to gain an education that is well balanced and excels in multiple fields. Throughout my college career, I have tutored at the local elementary school as a volunteer, at the my university through the work study program, at homes as a private tutor to both high school and college students, and at various other locations to my fellow classmates and friends. I have tutored in accounting, mathematics, and sciences.
Teaching Style
I enjoy helping others gain an understanding and interest in any subject that may be troubling them. To start, I find out what the student is currently studying and what material the student understands. I then use what the student knows to introduce and explain the material the student does not understand. Throughout the process I do my best to make sure the student understands what is being explained and has the ability to solve problems without my guidance. Once I see the student is comfortable with the material, we move on to new material. I try everything I can to work with students' needs and wants in order to help them gain confidence in their education.
