Experience Summary
During the past 31 years I have instructed young women at my private Catholic high school ( which just closed unfortunately due to low enrollment) in all English skills, reading, composition, including Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition since 1992. I have taught every year of English 7-12. I have also taught a course in SAT prep and have tutored extensively both during the school year as well as during summers.
Teaching Style
I am available at any time to work with your student in all areas of the English curricula; I particularly enjoy working with students who need extra help with written composition and close reading for comprehension as well as vocabulary study. I have a strong background in English grammar, mechanics, and usage. I particularly enjoy working with students to prepare for the ACT and the SAT.
