Experience Summary
While I was an economics major at UC Davis, I volunteered my time as a PADI Divemaster because I enjoyed both scuba diving and mentoring. Volunteering as a Divemaster allowed me to gain mentoring abilities, and I excelled in almost all of my economics classes, which allowed me to acquire competency in a broad range of economics, finance and some accounting.
Teaching Style
I enjoy mentoring students to see the transformation from where they were, to where they are after they learn the material, and then letting them reflect back on how much they've learned and how much they are capable of. I am laid back and casual in my approach; I believe that patience is the key to success in teaching.
