Experience Summary
I am currently both a adjunct Accounting instructor and a Accounting tutoring instructor with DeVry University. In previous years, I have been a full-time Accounting instructor at a community college. My full-time job is that of Associate Campus Director at a private school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have taught all accounting courses applicable to a Bachelor's degree, from Accounting Principles to Intermediate and Cost Accounting. I am also certified and have taught on-line accounting courses.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is "hands-on" instruction. I enjoy teaching in a classroom environment. Face to face instruction supplemented with course materials is my preference. It's important to link the book and the homework with proper instruction. Working through examples and using illustrations also enhances learning and comprehension.
