Experience Summary
I have a BS in Secondary Education - Mathematics. I have 2 years tutoring experience in a high school as well as multiple years of experience working with students ages 12-19. I tutored Algebra 1 up to College Algebra for an after school program. I have some teaching experience in which I Student taught Pre-Algebra.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is one that focuses on the student-centered learning. I believe that teaching is a discovery in which students are learning and engaging in the material and not just memorizing what needs to be completed. I love working with kids and helping that organize their life and succeed in school. I make sure that students I work with have a positive learning environment that gives them the opportunity to grow as an individual.
