Experience Summary
In my undergraduate studies, I focused primarily on the student's use of imagination as it relates to literacy comprehension. While I have successfully completed credits in advanced mathematics and engineering, my passion is in English. I have scored consistently in the 90th+ percentile on standardized tests in the writing portions (Including the GRE), and have done exhaustive research for a local professor in preparation for a manuscript.
Teaching Style
While I hold high standards for academics, I am a fervent believer in learning through meaning. Every lesson plan I have taught has been designed so that it doesn't "feel" like a lesson plan, but rather, has been an experience. I believe it is essential to create a learning environment that engages the student actively, and educates them not just in the subject matter, but holistically, socially, and humanistically.
