Experience Summary
I have worked with students for over 15 years, in general education and special education. I have tutored students after school in any/all elementary subject areas. My strengths are literacy based subjects, and I am weaker in math. I am organized, determined, patient, understanding and positive.
Teaching Style
Teaching has been the most rewarding career that I could have ever imagined. I love working with students and helping them reach their full potential.I believe that all students can learn, however, not all by standard or conventional methods. I teach to a diverse population and have developed teaching strategies and interventions to reach virtually every student I have taught or tutored. I believe in open lines of communication with students, as well as, mutual trust and respect. I value student's input as to academic difficulty and potential goals. We are a team working towards student academic success.
