Experience Summary
As a 2008 graduate of Bethune Cookman University, I have experience with primary and intermediate levels of elemenatry students. I have a bachelor degree in Educational Studies and I am certified in teaching Elementary K-6. I have been tutoring students since I was in high school and continued to tutor and mentor elementary students when I was in college. During my matriculation of school I had the opportunity to work for a learning assistant mentoring programs (LAMP) and AmeriCorps, where I worked in partnership with local elementary and middle schools to provide tutoring to students on an as needed basis. For the past two years I have working as a substitute teacher and Youth Development Counselor
Teaching Style
I love working with students at all learning levels but I enjoy working with at-risk students because I believe that they need more assistants than some others. I am passionate and committed to students development and the learning process. I like try different methods to make learning fun and enjoyable for all students. I also teach to inspire students to become great learners and persons.
