Experience Summary
Experience consist of 5 years as a Para Educator. I have been teaching high school level subjects to young adults with many different levels of mental and physical disabilities. I am also state certified for the position and have been certified in CPR and First Aid. During these five years I have tutored students in mathematics, science, English, arts, history and various life skills.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children and being able to help them grow into well rounded adults. I am very patient and understanding. I realize that each child is special and all children are capable of learning. Each child learns in their own way and teaching not only takes patience, but it also takes creativity. If given the time and creative expression children will find and achieve success. Seeing a child's face light up because they achieve success makes all the time and effort worth it. Children are our future and each child is a star that reflects on us as parents. Anyone who takes a step can make a difference in a child's life. It's the one who leads them by the hand all the way that helps a child achieve full potential.
