Experience Summary
I was very motivated to accomplish a high level of excellence in education, and have earned a BS degree in both Meteorology and Mathematics. Although initially motivated to study meteorology, I took on the additional math major soon after because of my longtime love of numbers. Both majors complemented each other and enhanced my problem solving abilities. Further, both majors have afforded me the opportunity to apply Microsoft Excel to my laboratory projects, and senior research studies. Both research papers and laboratory write-ups helped me improve my grammar and writing skills. While attending college, I tutored other undergraduates in both Math and Statistics for two years.
Teaching Style
Teaching is a unique opportunity to shape a child’s world. I want to help children achieve their best, and have found that accomplishing this goal is best undertaken by exercising patience, care, and honesty. I believe interacting with all children is very important and having a strong relationship with them will also improve my learning abilities. With the appropriate tutelage, all children can succeed to their maximum potential.
