Experience Summary
As a college graduate, I have a fervent passion for teaching and mentoring. Earning a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics has given me a valuable understanding of math and science. I also have numerous experiences teaching, mentoring, and chemistry research. I have been employed by several tutoring initiatives for students on university campus and instructing chemistry lab for students in general and organic chemistry. Also, I have mentoring experience that extends to many STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects that include calculus, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and research.
Teaching Style
My enthusiasm for teaching is manifested in my personable teaching style. I want my student to have a complete and confident understanding in any material they aim to master. I work with a clear and disciplined lesson plan to be as efficient as possible. Also, I feel a relaxed and comfortable environment is essential to having an optimum learning experience. I believe in good education and have personally witnessed the value and power a great teacher can impact on a student, and I want as many people as possible to experience educational success.
