Teaching Style
My main goal in teaching is to connect personally with the student in a professional manner which enables mutual respect and trust to be built. This kind of teacher-student relationship allows for the best atmosphere in which a student can learn. My first task as a teacher is to find out how the student is motivated, and then to follow through with motivating the student to reach his or her potential (also requiring appropriate levels of achievement). Of course, good communication with the parent and/or classroom teacher who also has goals for the student who is being tutored is imperative.
