Experience Summary
During the years I have been an instructor and tutor, I have contributed to my students’ confidence and motivation through my interactive and engaging lessons on becoming a successful student. I conduct my lessons with high energy, engaging students to participate and contribute to the discussion. I balance excellent student interaction with effective classroom management.
I feel I would be an excellent choice for this position based on the fact that I have outstanding intellectual and analytical ability, oral and written expression, and ability to work well with others. In addition, I believe my truly exceptional strengths lie in the areas of motivation, creativity, self-confidence, and leadership.
Teaching Style
Students need to be equipped with the research skills and ability to fetter out information from a number of different sources. The information must be timely, accurate, credible, relevant, etc. The days of going to a library and pulling volumes of texts to research substantive information has changed. Now, most students understand what a Boolean search is. However, many don’t know much beyond the internet. This is both an imperative skill as a successful student, and as a potential graduate seeking employment.
