Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate of a prestigious NY Board of Education Program geared towards producing science and math teachers. I will be fully certified by NY State as a chemistry teacher in about two weeks time. Although my paid experience is limited to two years, this program placed me in public schools around the Island throughout my college career. I have taken extensive methods and curriculum courses, advanced technology seminars (Smartboard included), and have experienced both middle school and high school classroom teaching.
Teaching Style
I am very articulate and can explain even the most abstract concepts clearly. I am focused and believe every student has the potential to succeed.I have taught Regents chemistry for a full college semester, and am comprehensively familiar with regent goals and requirements. Having been privileged to teach with access to a well-stocked lab, I can easily capture the most difficult students’ attention with fascinating demos and illustrative laboratory experiments.
