Experience Summary
I tutored undergraduate students when I was a graduate student at San Francisco State. After I received my master's degree I taught ESL for three years in the San Francisco Bay Area and then taught English in Tokyo to Japanese freshmen college students (at International Christian University) and to Japanese adults (at the American School in Japan) for four years.
Teaching Style
I believe in student-centered teaching/tutoring, which means that I believe that what the student LEARNS is more important than what I try to teach. I am very sensitive to the needs of my students. Hey, I was a student once myself!
