Experience Summary
As a Research Scientist in Corporate America, I took the opportunity to focus on enhancing the math and science education of high, middle, and elementary school students. In addition to hands-on classroom activities, I was involved in the Program In Rochester to Interest Students in Science and Math (PRISSM), judged Science Fairs and Science Competitions. Because of my goal of enhancing student achievement, I have taught Chemistry at the Junior College level for the past eight years. I love the appreciation of English Literature and English Grammar as well and so, upon retirement, have taught French and Latin to students in middle school and high school.
Teaching Style
The word student comes from the Latin to be eager, and I love to instill the love of learning, n eagerness to learn, in children. The education or drawing out of a child's mind is the ultimate goal, and doing so in a disciplined yet exciting way has proven the best method for engaging students of all ages.
