Experience Summary
I have a bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Benedict. During my college education I worked for three years as a college writing tutor helping my students achieve academic excellence. Due to my degree and work experience I have ample experience and expertise in grammar, writing process and writing technique. Following my education I served two years with AmeriCorps: The first year with the Minnesota ReadingCorps wherein I worked with under-achieving first graders and the second year with the National Civilian Community Corps wherein I traveled the American Southwest doing various service projects.
Teaching Style
I am personally devoted to my own academic and personal learning sucess. I am hugely passionate about learning and want to spread my own passion on to others. All people should be able to feel this and I hope that I can help make this possible. Additionally, I feel that every learner is unique and reachable-- it is my desire to assist students find the learning styles that work for them so that they may use it both in tutoring and in the rest of their lives.
