Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelors degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Strength and Conditioning, which has given me an advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and other sciences, as well as medical terminology. I have taught a student athletic training class for 3 summers at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, WI. Also, my job as a certified athletic trainer allows me to be in constant contact with school-age children and athletes.
Teaching Style
I believe that all children learn differently. I, myself, am a very hands-on learner and I have expressed my learning styles in my teaching styles and it has been very receptive. I believe that as a teacher/tutor, one needs to find what the child is interested in and use that knowledge to adapt the curriculum to them.
