Experience Summary
I have many years of accounting experience in a corporate environment as a Controller. I have always enjoyed accounting and I take pride in accurate work and keeping up the new accounting guidelines. A few years ago I worked part-time at the Clark County Community College teaching a Certified Bookkeeper's Course and Understanding Financial Statements. I enjoyed helping the students and teaching in general. Unfortunately I worked full time as well and could not keep up with the hours.
Teaching Style
I taught on a college level and I believe students should have an opportunity to read the material first and then we'll get together and go over what they don't understand. In accounting, repetition is important, understanding the basics and building on those basics is essential. This science is not always the easiest to understand.
