Experience Summary
As an elementary school teacher over the past 29 years I have taught for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, LAUSD, and currently for Saugus Union School district. I have taught in grades Kinder-4th grade. There were six years that I chose to substitute teach between 1986-1991 so that I could be home part time to raise my young family.
Teaching Style
I believe all children have the capacity to learn. My approach is to provide a nurturing environment using praise and encouragement to motivate students. When a student's confidence increases, they begin to achieve more academic success. With patience, encouragement, and praise, children are able to work to their potential. I make learning fun!
