Experience Summary
I have extensive experience in post secondary chemical education. During my graduate work, I both served as a tutor and a lecturer for general chemistry. After graduation, I became a college chemistry professor teaching general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. After six years in academia, I became an industrial chemist and am currently employed by a company in Little Rock.
Teaching Style
I have always been enthusiastic about educating young adults in the magic of chemistry. Chemistry can be a daunting subject, but I have found that students can master chemistry when they are shown how to break down chemistry and chemical problems as well as given "real world" chemical trivia to see the purpose behind learning chemistry. I firmly believe everyone is interested in learning chemistry; some just don't know it yet!
