Experience Summary
I taught all subjects in primary grades 1-3 in public schools for 28 years.
I also have my learning resource degree and have worked with immigrant children from many countries teaching ESL. I love reading sharing this love with children. I enjoy teaching computer skills and technology to integrate reading skills.
Teaching Style
I am a creative, detail-oriented, and dependable teacher who uses literature and phonics knowledge to reinforce reading skills. I love reading and sharing my love of books with children. I have taught all subjects at the elementary level for 28 years and am currently retired.I believe that all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am patient, easy going and considerate. I believe that all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate motivation and study skills.
