Teaching Style
I have taught students with a wide range of educational, social and emotional needs. I am very experienced in designing individualized curriculum and modifying grade level lessons. I believe that assessment of skills will enable me to design lessons that encompass all of the student's cognitive areas of development, and feel it is vital to address issues such as the student's personal interests and strengths. I have worked with multicultural students in several states across the country. I have worked with learning disable students in a resource room, grades 3-8. I have also worked with students with moderate to severe handicapping conditions in a self-contained setting, pre-K through 6th grade.
