Experience Summary
I come from a strong background of chemistry instruction stemming from my BS in chemistry at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2004. At SUNY Plattsburgh, I supervised and conducted General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry laboratory recitations. Moreover, I have cultivated my skills as a Research Scientist over the last six years as a QO Chemist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and a Lab Chemist at Anachemia Chemicals Inc.
Moreover, as a graduate student of the University of Vermont I mastered the skills of protein and organic synthesis and metal-ligand associations in collagen synthesis, which was the core of my Master's thesis work.I obtained an MS in chemistry in May 2010
Teaching Style
I believe that there is no greater joy than giving back to the others. Teaching allows one to share knowledge through instruction and is rewarding on both ends.I am fair, patient and non-condescending which allows the learner to trust and gain confidence. As soon the student becomes confident, learning will most definitely ensue.
