Experience Summary
I have a BA in accounting. I was trained in general ledgering, bookkeeping, preparing trial balances, as well as income statements, Balance sheets, and statement of cashflows. I continue to study and restudy these areas to keep it fresh in my mind.
Teaching Style
In accounting it is helpful to know the pieces before you get to the parts. An overview of where these ledgering numbers go can help students understand the why of ledgering. I first try to recognize where a student may have difficulty then work from there.
