Experience Summary
Throughout my educational career I have always found myself to have a very healthy appetite for knowledge. It was this drive that lead me to earn both a Master’s in Engineering and Bachelor’s of Science with a double major in Engineering and Economics. My desire to learn did not rest solely within the sciences. While in school, I took several classes in fields ranging from Philosophy to History to Creative Writing. It was also my pleasure to pass along my knowledge to many of my peers. For a large portion of my college career I worked as a teaching assistant, helping students with reports and projects within the fields of Math and Science.
Teaching Style
An important lesson I learned is that every child is different. This is the most important fact to realize when attempting to teach a child. The most important traits that every teacher can have are patience and adaptability. It is my belief that every child can achieve academic success if they are able to find a link to the material that they are learning. My goal as a teacher is to relate to your child and help your child relate to the material that he/she is learning. Ultimately, your child will find studying much more enjoyable.
