Experience Summary
Upon graduating from an accredited college, Saint Louis University, I was confident that I would use my education in the best way possible. One of the principles that SLU teaches its student is to give back to the community. In my opinion, there is no better way to do than through education. My experience includes 3 years of mentoring with Mentor St.Louis. During this time, I was paired with one or two students during the school year. We would have 2 sessions a month where we'd read books and teach the months lesson. I have tutored my younger siblings through elementary and middle school. I have a strong love and am enthusiatic about math. I have always excelled in this area. Speacialty areas are trig and all levels of alegebra.
Teaching Style
I do beleive that knowledge is power. I am a knowledge seeker and am inclined to share that knowledge that I have acquired. Children are the biggest knowledge seekers. They want to know more about everything. I feel that I am more than capable of educating children. I have high energy, patients, and am able to adapt to any learning style.
