Experience Summary
I have 20+ years experience in the computer field and I had a 3.0 average in general studies. I have a BS in computer science and an AAS in microcomputer technology. Most of my education was self taught beyond high school. I've also tutored and mentored school age children for approximately four years when in college. All math and science subjects were from high school from basic math to calculus, trigonometry, and basic geometry. Physical and earth sciences are also strong suites. I can also give students better study skills and memory retention techniques to aid in obtaining higher grades in K-12 and some post-secondary education.
Teaching Style
My style of teaching is repetition of material focusing on specific areas where the student is having problems. One on one approach until the lesson is grasped by the student has proven to work more than group settings. Once the area of concern is learned the student usually continues getting it down pat on their own with me as backup or a question resource from that point.
