Experience Summary
I was always intrigued by science and how it explains how everything works. I have an Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology which covers the basics of many branches of biology such as General Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Zoology, Botany, Molecular Biology, as well as chemistry, organic chemistry, and immunochemistry. I have also gained great skills in writing research papers, scientific reports, powerpoint presentations, abstracts, and understanding professional researchers' papers. During college, I formed a steady science study group where I helped my fellow classmates with the class' subject matters and prepare for tests.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring and teaching because whether I am the tutor or student, I am learning regardless. I have learned various teaching tactics such as visual, acoustics, repetitions and a combination of both; which ever is more beneficial to the student. I also like to allow the student to critically think so they wont rely on the tutor or teacher when a question or concept is difficult. This allows the sudents to reach their full potential, perform better on tests and participate more in classroom.
