Experience Summary
I am a recent master's graduate in the field of Atmospheric Science. In addition I have a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology with minors in both math and physics. I have had the privilege of working with students in a classroom setting as a substitute teacher the past couple of years. I enjoy helping students succeed by helping them gain confidence in a subject area. I have a passion for mathematics as it is a subject that many students shy away from. I have tutored students in math from Calculus down to Algebra over the course of 6 years.
Teaching Style
I have a burden for young people and enjoy the opportunity in helping them succeed. Probably one of the greatest influences in my life was a former tutor who pushed me to be the best that I could possibly be. That is a strategy that I strive for in everyone I have the privilege of tutoring. I demand excellence from my students. I don’t provide answers, but rather help students find it on their own. I am but I guide in helping students piece through their knowledge base in solving the problems laid out before them. I am an easy going hard working individual who gets along well with others. I enjoy working with students of all ages. My goal is to help you obtain the keys to becoming a successful individual.
