Experience Summary
I have tutored both English as a second language and Spanish for five years to high school, middle school and college level students. I also have experience working with children with mental disabilities. I hold a bachelor degree of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in English, Spanish and sociology from the University of Missouri. In addition to possessing the grammatical knowledge of the Spanish language, I am also a native speaker and am fluent in both English and Spanish.
Teaching Style
I am a creative teacher and am able to easily adapt to different learning styles. I am fun to work with, patient and accommodate my students based on their learning ability. I provide my students with assessments to assure that they have learned the material prior to moving on. I value knowledge and student learning and am passionate about my job. My goal is for my students to maximize their understanding of the material so that they can develop new skills and abilities that will benefit them in the future.
