Experience Summary
I have experience working with Pre-K thru 4th grade. I have taught reading , writing, math, social studies, science, and character edeucation. I have a Bach. Degree in Social Work and a minor in Child Psychology. I have helped devevelope goals for students to reach higher learning reading and writing skills.I have taught phonic awareness to help support and enhance reading skills.I am currently a ELA/Reading specialist for 3rd -5th grade and Tutorial Coach. I tutor students in English, Writing, and Reading.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I believe that every child can learn. Education is centered around social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual learning in a healty, caring and nuturing enviroment. Children can learn almost anything when they are taught in a way that takes into account their learning ability. I believe curriculim planning and assesment helps determine the educational need of each child. I believe the key to education is to help students relate to new information and process new informationd, because I really believe that there is a GENIUS IN EVERY CHILD.
