Experience Summary
My college experience have been an amazing one. As a mathematics major with a minor in biology, I feel like I have gained a lot of knowledge that will help me in the rest of my educational career. Being a mathematics major has helped me learn how to solve and understand complicated maths problems. I have also gained a lot of knowledge in the computational field that I know will help me in the real world. I spent most of my college years volunteering and tutoring students from first graders to twelve grade in mathematics. One of the most wonderful experience in my college career was spending the last two years as a Teaching Assistant for students taking contemporary college algebra here at VCU.
Teaching Style
Being a teaching assistant at VCU for two years, I have mastered the basic and most important skills required of a tutor or any teacher. My number one motto when it comes to teaching or tutor is patience. This is because, I feel that people learn at different pace and in different ways. Thus, I have lots of patience when working with students. Since the success of my students my number one priority, I dedicate all my time to help my students in any way possible. I am very easy going and very approachable and my main aim is to see all my students succeed.
