During my teaching career, I have taught math workshops, been team leader and received ESL supplemental certification. I am currently a member of the Texas Counseling Association.
Teaching Style
I strive to help each individual reach his or her own potential with the strong belief that each child can succeed. Each child learns differently, and my objective is to discover how to reach each child. I believe strongly in a hands on approach to math which utilizes manipulatives. A child learns to read by reading, discussing what is read, and enjoying what is read. I enjoy teaching and watching each child develop as a responsible independent contributor to society.
