Experience Summary
I have had a love for teaching as early as elementary school.I was asked by my principal if I would help the first graders tell time. Then when I was in the seventh grade I was asked if I would like to tutor third graders. When I attended O.S.U I became a Reading Coordinator through the Right-To-Read Program.I taught other students how to teach adults and children how to read.I found this very rewarding.I also enjoy teaching sight words and spelling.I have taken many classes the last two years that help me work directly with younger children in meeting their needs and understanding how to help them learn to read. One of my gifts in life is having the patience to teach others because I care.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children.I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways.I am available to help your child and adults find academic success. I am patient, easy going and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible.I believe all children as well as adults can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences.A dedicated and a person who has a passion for reading can share their enthusiasm with others and make a big difference in other students' lives.
