Experience Summary
I have an MA in history as well as a BA in antropology from New Mexico State University and graduated with honors. I recently finished up the school year tutoring students in grades first through fourth. While teaching at a charter schhool, I also taught and tutored third grade students in reading and math. I have experience in teaching American History to incoming freshmen at the local community college here in El Paso, TX.
Teaching Style
I thoroughly enjoy tutoring children on a one-to-one basis because I beleive that students progress more if they get individual attention. I get to see the students' faces light up when they "get it" and knowing that I have made some impact in their lives is very rewarding.
