Experience Summary
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree. I am a certified teacher that specializes in Mathematics. While in school I tutored for the athletic department for four years in many subjects of mathematics. I also completed 2 internships and a semester of student teaching in 3 different middle schools.
Teaching Style
I love tutoring mathematics and find it rewarding when my students succeed and learn to love math as I do. I am patient and understanding and can easily adapt to each student's different and unique learning styles. I am an exceptional listener and communicator and I never give up on any student. Mathematics is arguably the hardest subject for students to grasp, and I try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable.
