I also hold a full endorsement in SEI (Structural English Immersion.) I have worked with many English Language Learners and Special Edu students, as well as many gifted students throughout my teaching career.
Teaching Style
My teaching style consists of teaching math with a holistic approach to the subject. I believe the best mathematics program is a well balanced one, consisting of concept work, guided and independent practice, mental math, and spiraled review. I believe in working with student's areas of strength, learning how they personally learn best, and building a stronger awareness of math sense and discrete math in order to be able to tackle new problems with more efficiency. I believe all students can learn and greatly enjoy working with students of different ages, backgrounds, ambitions and abilities.
