Over twenty years experience in business and financial services. Served and Corporate Trainer and Training Consultant in numerous environments, training Accountants and other professionals in the areas of Professional Development and Licensing and Certification.
Have also served as Adjunct Instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University Petrocelli College of Professional Studies teaching Certified Financial Planning coursework in the areas of Taxationand Financial Planning.
Have also taught computer applications as part of my duties.
Teaching Style
I evaluate the student's degree of familiarity with the subject to see what areas need the most attention. I affirm the student's strengths and reinforce their ability to grasp the subject, using a conversational style with interim "checking" questions to secure agreement that the material covered thus far is understandable. I make the learning interactive, a mutual effort to bring the student to the point where he or she feels confident in their understanding of the subject. I reinforce they do understand and instill confidence in that knowledge as a tool to tackle those areas which may be more intimidating to the student.
