Experience Summary
I am college graduate with a BA degree in English Literature and I have aspirations to be a Physicians Assistant, so my knowledge ranges from the English department to Biology and math. As a pre-Physicians Assistant, I have taken a series of science courses and have excelled in general Biology and can teach this information with clarity. I have a positive and proactive attitude that is key to motivate individuals to apply themselves. I have a strong understanding of the English language and how to write essays in MLA, APA formats. I can help your student expand their creativity and enjoy doing so while also posing critical questions for them that they can later apply to their own scholarly experiences.
Teaching Style
I strongly believe that every individual has a different way of learning and understanding certain material. My goal as an instructor is to tap into what works for that person. I will pose questions and approaches to learning until I find the right method for your student. I love seeing the light bulb go off in a child's head when the material finally clicks and I strive for that moment in all my students. I am patient and have a way with words, illustrations, graphs, and analogies to make learning fun. I have had some spectacular teachers and through their inspiration I can help make your child's educational experience more enjoyable.
