Experience Summary
I have a BA from a top 20 school in the nation and attended 3 years of medical school in NJ. I have several years of experience as a researcher in medical laboratories, varying from cancer research at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, to conducting AIDS research at New York University. Thus, I have extensive medical knowledge. I can tutor students from elementary to post-grad including nursing students. I can also tutor in college prep, SAT, MCAT, essay writing, research papers, and high school sciences. At age 16, I began my teaching career as a biology instructor to junior high school students. Thus I have devoted many years of my life to helping others achieve academic success.
Teaching Style
I am a patient person. My teaching style is to teach in a constructive manner. I like to have a specific method in mind, so we both know what to expect. I believe all children have the potential to learn, but in their own ways. So the methods by which I teach will be custom tailored to your needs. I will certainly take an assessment first so both you and I know what to expect and what is desired.
