Experience Summary
English is my passion. I love the written word and believe it to be the highest form expression known to man. This is why I pursued and obtained a degree in English. Though I only have my bachelor's degree, I have studied more literature than most students in the graduate program. I am also a writer on the side, mainly poetry, and have been published by several magazines. Grammar is second nature to me; I know instinctively wrong from right in that department. I don't have as much teaching experience as some, but I am thorough in my duties and eager to fulfill them.
Teaching Style
I have always been a fiercely independent learner, and that affected my grades in high school. When the teacher told me to read one thing, I would read another. Many students are of that caliber today. As such, I am able to connect very well with the deviant pupil. As a tutor, my goal is to awaken the interest and potential that lies dormant in everyone. Continuous learning is the human brain's natural state. I am prepared to cater to your child's educational needs.
