Experience Summary
I am an English major from the University of Houston. I have taken many English and humanity courses in the past 7 years. I also tutor students on my own in college level courses currently, as well as substitute teach all grade levels in Katy ISD. I have worked with special ed students, resource students, and GT/AP students. I have a wide variety of experience with students of all age and learning ranges. My specialty is English and I love to read and write. I have written many papers and read many books which have all given me skills to keep teaching others how to read effectively and write.
Teaching Style
Since I have been around all different types of children, of all ages, I've learned each child learns differently. I will take an approach to different styles of learning to see which way your child learns best. If each child is given the opportunity to learn the best way they can, and not the best way I think they can, then each child will always be successful. As a teacher, I am very patient and considerate and hold no judgment on any child. I want each child I teach to succeed in life, and I'm there to help them.
