Experience Summary
In the last 5 years I have the opportunity of meeting and counseling student of varied back ground. In the process, I ended up scheduling appointment and tutoring different subject from statistics, finance, economics and public finance. I have a solid background in Business Administration and Finance. Tutoring was not what i set out to do but I have come to like it dearly. It has also help me to understand concept and theories better than I was taught. Most of my students has been adult graduate students and has worked very well for me whether teaching excel, stats, finance, economics etc. I have no experience dealing with younger student, however, I think it will be an experience.
Teaching Style
Every student is different, different in attention levels and ability to retain. My method is to use practical examples that each student can relate to. In the process, i helped my students to construct their own learning examples so that they can participate and relate to the discussion. I have used this experience and has perfectly worked for me and my students.
