Experience Summary
As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I served in Switzerland and Germany for 22 months speaking High German. I studied everyday, and excelled in my studies and speaking. For a few months, I had a German tutor, a German woman from Berlin that would help with my pronunciation. I was able to use the language everyday, and I always got compliments on my grammar and pronunciation. I also studied French all through High School, and used it while in Switzerland several times. I can carry a small French conversation and make my way around.
Teaching Style
I've taught children, teenagers, and adults. It is important to me that those listening understand and are able to comprehend what is being taught. I try to make the situation fun and entertaining, but focus on what needs to be learned. I feel that if a teacher has a personal relationship with a student, the student will excel more, and have an interest in the topic.
