Experience Summary
Math has always been my favorite subject. When I was a Senior in High School, I discovered the many opportunities for accounting majors. I decided at that time I wanted to major in accounting and start a career in the financial industry. I have earned a BS and MS in Accounting. I am currently an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at a local university. I have been teaching and tutoring Principles of Accounting for about 3 years. I also have over 15 years of financial experience within the banking and brokerage areas of operations.
Teaching Style
I love helping students achieve their academic goals. Whether it is assisting a student with a homework assignment or preparing for an exam, I believe that every goal is achievable with guidance. I am very patient and easy going. I like to use examples as a learning tool. Real life experiences allows a student to visually see the results and provides a positive learning experience. Educators are a rare jewel. They have a special gift for delivering learning tools and guidelines to allow a student to obtain high academic results.
